AI/ML Engineer

AI/ML Engineer – Dublin Cpl are partnering with a global cybersecurity organisation to establish a new technology centre of excellence in Dublin.

This is an opportunity to help build an AI-powered cyber-risk platform, using data, quantitative analysis and machine learning to support proactive security insights.

This is a hybrid role, requiring an average of three days per week in the Dublin office.

Responsibilities Design, train and evaluate machine-learning and statistical models.

Develop quantitative metrics, scoring models and predictive alerting capabilities.

Transform complex incident and security data into useful features and explainable outputs.

Establish robust approaches to experimentation, validation, benchmarking and model monitoring.

Collaborate with software engineers, data specialists and security teams to operationalise models.

Support wider platform development where required.

Requirements

Strong commercial experience in AI/ML engineering, data science or quantitative software development.

Excellent knowledge of Python and strong understanding of statistics, probability, linear algebra and optimisation.

Experience working with imperfect, complex or high-volume datasets.

Strong software-engineering practices, including testing, version control and documentation.

Experience in cybersecurity, risk, financial modelling or a similar analytical environment would be advantageous.

Minimum Stamp 4 visa or equivalent unrestricted right to work in Ireland.

Must currently live within a commutable distance of Dublin.
