  • Candidate profile details (such as location, skills, experience level, and professional summary)
  • CVs and related files you upload to your profile, a job application, or a paid CV review — including CVs an employer or recruiter uploads for a review they purchase
  • Information you provide for a CV review (such as a target job title, job type, job listing URL, or job description)
  • Job application data
  • Payment records for paid services (processed by Stripe)
  • Usage data and analytics
  • Cookie data

How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

  • Create and manage your account
  • Process job applications
  • Provide paid CV review and related candidate services
  • Provide paid CV review to employers and recruiters who submit a candidate CV they are authorised to share
  • Send relevant job alerts
  • Improve our services
  • Comply with legal obligations

CV Uploads

You may upload a CV to your candidate profile, when you apply for a job, or when you buy a Technical CV review. Employers and recruiters may also upload a candidate CV when they buy a Technical CV review. A CV often contains personal information such as a name, contact details, work history, and education.

We process CVs for these purposes:

  • Profile. To store a CV on your account so you can reuse it for applications and, if you choose, for a CV review.
  • Job applications. To send your CV to the employer for the role you applied to.
  • Paid CV review. To provide a scored, human-reviewed report aimed at the job or job type named with the order. TechJobs.ie reviewers need access to the CV to write and certify that report. Employers and recruiters must confirm they have permission to submit the CV.

We keep a CV for as long as it is needed for that purpose: while it remains on your profile, while an application is being considered, and while a CV review is being delivered and stored on your account. You can replace or remove the CV on your profile from your account settings. You can ask us to delete a CV or a CV review file by contacting us.

For CVs you upload, you can:

  • Access the CV stored on your account
  • Replace it with an updated file
  • Request deletion of a profile CV or a CV review upload
  • Object to processing, or withdraw consent, where processing is based on consent

Deleting a CV from your profile does not automatically remove a copy already sent to an employer with a job application, or a copy used to complete a paid review that has already been delivered. Contact us if you need help with those copies.
