Full job description

Cpl are partnering with a leading international organisation to hire an IT Technical Architect for their infrastructure and security function.

This is a key role focused on designing and delivering secure, scalable technology solutions across a global environment, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Azure, enterprise infrastructure and SaaS integration.

Responsibilities Design and deliver end-to-end Azure-based infrastructure and security solutions.

Work with business and IT stakeholders to translate requirements into practical, scalable technical designs.

Provide technical oversight to delivery teams and act as an escalation point for complex technical issues.

Support the integration of SaaS platforms into the wider technology estate.

Produce and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, deployment guides and operational runbooks.

Deliver advanced troubleshooting and third-line support across cloud and on-premise systems.

Share knowledge with internal IT teams and support the ongoing improvement of technical capability.

Work closely with infrastructure, security, service delivery and applications teams to ensure solutions align with wider technology strategy.

Requirements

5+ Years experience in a similar role Proven experience in a Technical Architect, Infrastructure Architect or similar senior technical role.

Strong Azure architecture experience across IaaS, PaaS and SaaS services.

Broad knowledge of enterprise infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, security and Active Directory.

Experience with Entra ID, identity, authentication and enterprise application management.

Comfortable working with third-party providers, project teams and senior business stakeholders.

Experience designing highly available, secure solutions within a large or multi-site environment.

Strong documentation, communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Azure certifications and TOGAF exposure would be beneficial.

Must have a minimum stamp 1G spousal and be based within a commutable distance to Dublin.

On offer Salary of €90,000–€100,000 + Bonus Hybrid working model: three days onsite, with two weeks’ work-from-anywhere annually. 22 days’ annual leave, plus 2.5 additional company days.

Pension contribution of 8% employer / 4% employee.

Annual salary review each January.
