- Good understanding of ETL/ELT, data modelling and data quality
- Experience working with Azure data services
- Hands-on exposure to Databricks and PySpark

Full job description
We’re looking for a hands-on Data Engineer (Azure & Databricks) to join a growing data team, working alongside Senior Data Engineers, Data Architects and Analysts to build reliable, scalable data solutions that support reporting, analytics and business decision-making.
This is a great opportunity for someone who has moved beyond junior-level delivery and is ready to take ownership of production data pipelines while continuing to develop their skills across modern cloud data engineering.
This is a full time permanent position, hybrid working structure in Dublin city centre
What you’ll be working with

Python & SQL – building data pipelines, transformations and automation
-
Azure Databricks – notebooks, jobs and data processing
-
PySpark & Delta Lake – working with modern data processing and storage
-
Azure Data Factory – orchestration, scheduling and dependencies
-
Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2
-
Unity Catalog – data access and governance fundamentals
-
Git – branching, pull requests and collaborative development
-
Power BI – supporting analytical and reporting users
You’ll ideally have:
-
4+ years’ experience in Data Engineering, ETL/ELT, Analytics Engineering or a similar role

Strong hands-on SQL and Python

Experience building and supporting production data pipelines

Good understanding of ETL/ELT, data modelling and data quality

Experience working with Azure data services

A practical, problem-solving mindset and the ability to troubleshoot pipeline and data issues
