Key requirements

Must-have

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years' experience with Oracle databases, SQL, and PL/SQL
  • Strong background in data engineering, ETL development, and data migration
  • Proven experience with SQL performance tuning and optimisation
  • Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working within Agile development environments
  • Knowledge of source control systems and development best practices
  • Excellent communication skills

About the Opportunity

Our client, a leading global financial services organisation, is seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join a high-performing technology team supporting critical investment and operational platforms. This is an excellent opportunity for a data professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment, partnering with stakeholders across international teams to build scalable, high-quality data solutions.

**The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining data solutions that support business-critical investment functions. You will work closely with both technical and business stakeholders, contributing to innovative projects while driving best practices in data engineering and database development. **

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Oracle database solutions.
