Data Engineer

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Data Engineer looking to work with modern technology, cloud platforms and enterprise-scale data. You'll play a key role in developing and enhancing a data warehouse environment, working closely with technical and business teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end data warehouse changes, from requirements and impact analysis through to development, testing and deployment.

• Develop and maintain SQL databases, stored procedures, tables and views.

• Design, develop and support ETL/data integration processes, including reconciliation and error handling.

• Develop and maintain SSAS Tabular models and DAX solutions.

• Contribute to dimensional modelling, data architecture and data platform enhancements.

• Ensure data quality, integrity, auditability and appropriate documentation.

• Provide technical advice to business analysts, data analysts, developers and project teams.

• Contribute to data transformation, cloud migration and modernisation initiatives.

• Work collaboratively across multiple projects and priorities, supporting effective change and release management.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years’ experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing or Business Intelligence.

• Strong hands-on SSAS experience is essential, particularly SSAS Tabular and DAX.

• Excellent SQL Server and SQL development skills.

• Strong experience with ETL/data integration, data warehousing and dimensional modelling.

• Experience with SSIS, Power BI and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).

• Experience with Git/source control, Azure DevOps and Visual Studio.

• Understanding of data quality, governance and enterprise data architecture.

• Experience delivering data changes through structured development, testing and release processes.

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across technical and business teams.
