What you'll be doing
Platform Engineer role at a fast-growing fintech in Ireland (hybrid). Hands-on position with ownership over secure, reliable, and scalable infrastructure. Involvement in architecture and tooling decisions, cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, IaC, CI/CD, observability, and security best practices.
- Build and run cloud infrastructure on AWS (EKS, EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, Lambda, OpenSearch)
- Manage Kubernetes workloads using Helm and GitOps with ArgoCD
- Write reusable Infrastructure as Code with Terraform or Pulumi
- Design CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions or GitLab CI
- Improve observability with Prometheus, Grafana, and centralized logging
- Embed security best practices, including secrets management with HashiCorp Vault
- Participate in incident response and shared on-call rotation
Key requirements
Must-have
- 3-10 years in DevOps, SRE, Cloud or Platform Engineering
- Strong AWS and Kubernetes experience
- Solid scripting skills in Python
- Track record of owning systems
Nice-to-have
- Experience in regulated environments (financial services, payments, etc.)
- Exposure to data platforms like Snowflake or Apache Airflow
- Background in a startup or scale-up
Experience: 3-10 years in DevOps, SRE, Cloud or Platform Engineering

Our client is a fast-growing fintech scaling its platform across international markets, and they're looking for a Platform Engineer to help build infrastructure that's secure, reliable and scalable.
This is a hands-on role where you'll have real ownership and have a voice in architecture and tooling decisions from the beginning.
What you'll be doing

Building and running cloud infrastructure on AWS (EKS, EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, Lambda, OpenSearch)
