What you'll be doing

Key requirements

  • Strong professional experience with Python and FastAPI on the back end
  • Experience with React and TypeScript on the front end
  • Proven ability to design and deliver scalable, production-grade full-stack systems
  • Experience operating at a principal or lead level, balancing hands-on development with strategic technical direction

Nice-to-have

  • A passion for creating clear, usable interfaces in complex problem domains
  • Interest in building impactful systems within security, defence, or investigative environments
  • Ability to operate in a start-up/scale-up environment and own/build the end-to-end system or set of features

I'm working with an exciting start-up in Ireland who is seeking a Principal Full Stack Engineer with deep expertise in Python and React to build intuitive, high-impact software.

  • Principal Full Stack Engineer (Python/React) - Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead the design and development of full-stack applications, with a strong emphasis on React-based frontends and Python backends.
  • Build high-performance, intuitive UIs for complex analytical and investigative workflows.

  • Set and influence architecture, technical standards, and engineering best practices.
