- Design, develop, and implement AI-powered workflow automation solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio and Microsoft Power Platform
- Build, configure, and support Copilot Studio agents, actions, tools, and orchestration workflows
- Develop and implement enterprise-grade integrations using REST APIs, JSON payloads, and modern integration patterns
- Create supporting automation services, APIs, and backend components using Python
- Partner with business stakeholders and analysts to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Lead and contribute to solution design activities, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and engineering standards
- Participate in code reviews and promote software engineering best practices across the team
- Support sprint planning, estimations, and technical delivery activities
Key requirements
Must-have
- 5+ years' experience delivering enterprise-scale software engineering solutions
- Strong commercial experience with Python development
- Proven expertise designing and building RESTful APIs and system integrations
- Experience working with Swagger/OpenAPI specifications and API documentation
- Strong understanding of JSON, web services, and modern integration architectures
- Demonstrated experience owning technical design and solution delivery for medium to large-scale initiatives
- Experience delivering production-grade solutions within large enterprise environments
- Strong Agile delivery experience
Nice-to-have
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate and Power Apps
- Proven track record building enterprise workflow automation solutions
- Experience integrating Microsoft 365 services such as Teams and SharePoint

Contract Opportunity | Tier 1 Banking Client
Our client, a leading Tier 1 financial institution, is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join a high-profile Enterprise Risk & Finance Technology programme. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the design and delivery of next-generation AI-enabled workflow automation solutions within a complex enterprise environment.
Working at the forefront of AI, automation, and enterprise integration, you will leverage technologies including Microsoft Copilot Studio, Microsoft Power Platform, Python, APIs, and modern integration frameworks to deliver scalable business solutions.
This is a hands-on engineering position that combines solution architecture, software development, workflow automation, and technical leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement AI-powered workflow automation solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio and the Microsoft Power Platform.
- Build, configure, and support Copilot Studio agents, actions, tools, and orchestration workflows.
- Develop and implement enterprise-grade integrations using REST APIs, JSON payloads, and modern integration patterns.
- Create supporting automation services, APIs, and backend components using Python.

- Strong Agile delivery experience.
- Experience conducting code reviews and contributing to engineering standards and best practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate and Power Apps.
- Proven track record building enterprise workflow automation solutions.
- Experience integrating Microsoft 365 services such as Teams and SharePoint.
- Previous experience providing technical leadership and mentoring development teams.
Additional Advantageous Skills
- Experience working with MCP (Model Context Protocol) services.
- Exposure to Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Agentic AI, or related AI technologies.
