Contract Role | Dublin (Hybrid) | Negotiable Daily Rate

We are partnering with a leading Tier 1 global investment bank to hire an experienced Software Engineer for a long-term contract opportunity within a critical Finance Technology team.

This role sits within the bank's Enterprise Finance Technology division, supporting a flagship finance and sub-ledger platform responsible for processing millions of daily transactions across debt, credit derivatives, and cash products. You'll join a highly collaborative engineering team focused on enhancing platform capabilities, driving operational excellence, and delivering strategic technology solutions that support global finance operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for a strong Oracle PL/SQL developer with an interest in large-scale financial systems, data processing, and enterprise architecture within a complex banking environment.

The Opportunity

As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing key components of a strategic sub-ledger platform that underpins financial reporting and accounting processes. Working closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and global development teams, you will deliver scalable solutions that support both business growth and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement enhancements to existing platform functionality.
