  • Handle incidents, problems and changes within SLAs, following ITIL processes
  • Apply patches, fix vulnerabilities and help put Zero Trust security controls in place
  • Support migrations, upgrades and cloud modernisation projects

Key requirements

Must-have

  • 5+ years of hands-on infrastructure engineering or technical operations experience
  • Strong Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP skills
  • Solid experience administering Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Intune
  • Good working knowledge of Azure infrastructure and security tooling
  • Experience with VMware, storage and backup technologies
  • Sound understanding of networking, including LAN/WAN, firewalls, routing and switching
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Methodical, hands-on approach

Nice-to-have

  • PowerShell scripting
  • Certifications such as AZ-104 or AZ-800

Infrastructure & Cloud Engineer

**
**We're looking for an Infrastructure & Cloud Engineer for an initial day-rate contract of 6 months. It's a hybrid role based in Dublin, joining a busy IT operations team that keeps a mixed on-prem and Azure estate running smoothly while the business moves further into the cloud.

  • Look after on-prem and cloud infrastructure, including servers, storage, VMware and core networking
  • Administer Azure resources such as virtual machines, storage, networking, identity and RBAC
  • Manage Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive
