Full job description

We are hiring an IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our client’s IT team and support critical 24/7 healthcare operations in a complex enterprise environment.

This is a hands-on role covering networking, servers, virtualisation, storage, backup, security, and Microsoft infrastructure, with a strong focus on operational support, troubleshooting, and infrastructure project delivery.

You’ll work closely with internal IT teams, clinical departments, vendors, and third-party providers to ensure secure, stable, and resilient IT services that directly support patient care.

This is a full time permanent position based in Dublin Sandyford, 4 days a week on site /1 day WFH

Responsibilities:

  • Support and maintain enterprise infrastructure systems and services

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across multiple domains

  • Support networking, server, virtualisation, backup, and security platforms

  • Contribute to infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and improvement projects

  • Participate in DR, monitoring, and operational resilience activities

  • Support 24/7 critical healthcare IT environments
