Full job description
Senior Software Developer in Test (Contract, Galway)
I'm currently recruiting on behalf of a leading software development organisation based in Galway for a 6 Month rolling contract.
In this role you will support the wider development team in an AI transformation project, ensuring quality and reliability of their products. The Ideal candidate will have a strong development background, excellent automation and manual testing knowledge and be experienced in working with AI tools.
Key Skills & Experience

Proven experience in software development and testing, with strong manual and automated testing skills.

Experience using AI tools such as Claude or Copilot to enhance test creation and automation.

Experience testing AI/agentic products, including model responses, reliability, data inputs/outputs and scalability.

Strong experience building automated test frameworks using C#, Python and/or TypeScript.

Experience with contract testing
