We are partnering with a well-established organisation in Dublin that is looking to hire a Lead Cyber Security Engineer into a dedicated cyber security function.

This is a highly technical, hands-on role for someone who has come from a strong systems administration / infrastructure background and progressed into cyber security engineering. You will work closely with the CISO, taking ownership of security engineering initiatives, architecture, technical controls, and the ongoing improvement of the organisation’s security posture.

The Role

• Lead security engineering projects end-to-end.

• Secure and harden AD, Group Policy, M365 and Entra ID.

• Improve IAM, PAM, endpoint and Azure security.

• Support secure network design, segmentation and zero trust.

• Review new systems and projects from a security perspective.

• Work with the MSSP / SOC on detection, logging and incident response.

What You Bring

• 8+ years IT experience with strong cyber security engineering exposure.

• Strong background in systems administration or infrastructure.

• Hands-on Microsoft security experience.

• Good knowledge of networking, firewalls and secure architecture.

• Experience working in a regulated environment.

• Strong technical, analytical and communication skills.

Experience with NIST, CIS, ISO 27001, PowerShell, Python or relevant security certifications is beneficial.

• Salary: up to €95,000 + 10% bonus

• Location: Dublin City Centre

• Hybrid: 3 days onsite
