Key requirements
Must-have
- 4-6 years of commercial hands-on cybersecurity experience
- Demonstrated track record of automating security processes
- Scripting knowledge (Bash, Python, Shell)
- Exceptional communication skills
- Ability to work onsite in Dublin 2 when required
Nice-to-have
- Exposure to Terraform
- Exposure to Ansible
- Policy as Code experience
- Experience in the Financial Services sector
Experience: 4-6 years of commercial hands-on cybersecurity experience

Security Engineer (Automation) – Financial Services – Dublin 2 (WFH/onsite hybrid)
Our client is a global Financial Institution, with its Dublin base managing acting as European hub for various subsidiaries. They have engaged us to speak to Security Engineers with hands on experience working with networking, firewall, Infrastructure and endpoint security ideally within the Financial Services Sector. Additional experience across Automation (utilising scripting) and knowledge of IaC a benefit.

To join the Security Team (responsible for cybersecurity across Engineering and Network Architecture)

Automation development utilising scripting experience across multiple teams

Based in Dublin 2 with a hybrid onsite/work from home model

Maintain focus on availability of services for internal customers, reviewing changes and automating processes

Manage pipelines of internal ongoing improvements and policies

4/6 years of commercial hands on Cybersecurity experience, with a demonstrated track record of Automating Security processes

Scripting knowledge, Bash/Python/Shell within a related environment

Exposure to additional tools such as Terraform/Ansible most welcome plus Policy as Code ideal

Exceptional communication skills and ability to work onsite when required (Dublin 2)
