A global technology organisation is expanding its Product Security team and is looking for an experienced security professional with a strong background in Product Security, Secure Software Development, and Security Engineering.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of security across complex products and work directly with software engineers, architects, and technical leaders to embed secure-by-design principles throughout the Software Development Lifecycle. Act as a trusted security partner to engineering teams, influencing product design decisions, leading security risk assessments, and helping shape the security direction of both existing and next-generation products.

The role offers exposure to modern product security challenges, including cloud-connected platforms, software supply chain security, secure development practices, and regulated product environments, making it an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining technical depth with engineering influence and leadership.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead Product Security risk assessments, threat modelling exercises, and security architecture reviews across software products and platforms.

  • Define and embed security requirements throughout the Software Development Lifecycle.

  • Guide engineering teams on secure coding practices, vulnerability remediation strategies, and security-by-design principles.

Key Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience within Product Security, Application Security, Security Engineering, or Secure Software Development.

  • Strong understanding of Secure SDLC, threat modelling, vulnerability management, and security architecture principles.

  • Knowledge of secure coding standards, including OWASP, NIST, and Microsoft Secure Development practices.

  • Hands-on experience with SAST, DAST, vulnerability scanning, and code analysis tools.

  • Strong understanding of application security, networking fundamentals, authentication, encryption, and PKI concepts.
