This is an opportunity to join a highly collaborative engineering team focused on automation, cloud-native technologies and platform reliability, working with modern DevOps and MLOps practices.

About the Position

We're looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to help design, build and operate a modern cloud platform supporting AI, Machine Learning and Data Engineering workloads.

You'll play a key role in developing self-service capabilities, improving developer experience, automating infrastructure and enabling engineering teams to deploy applications quickly, securely and reliably.

This is a hands-on engineering role suited to someone passionate about cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, automation and platform engineering.

Key Responsibilities

AI & MLOps

• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting AI, Machine Learning and Data Engineering teams.
• Develop internal platform tools that improve developer productivity and operational efficiency.
• Leverage AI-driven automation to optimise engineering workflows and platform operations.

Platform Engineering & Automation

• Build automation solutions that reduce manual operational effort.
• Develop self-service capabilities enabling engineering teams to independently deploy and manage applications.
• Continuously improve developer experience across the platform.

Cloud & Infrastructure

• Design, deploy and manage Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Build and maintain scalable, resilient and secure infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code.
• Optimise cloud performance, reliability and cost management.

Kubernetes & Container Platform

• Design, deploy and manage Kubernetes environments supporting containerised applications.
• Implement secure, scalable orchestration and workload management across the platform.

Security, Observability & Reliability

• Implement monitoring, logging and alerting solutions.
• Continuously improve platform performance, availability and resilience.
• Apply security best practices across infrastructure and deployment pipelines.

Collaboration & Leadership

• Work closely with Software Engineers, AI Engineers and Data Scientists to deliver platform capabilities.
• Mentor engineers and promote DevOps, automation and cloud engineering best practices.
• Identify opportunities to improve engineering processes and platform capabilities.

Experience/Requirements

• Proven experience as a Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer or Site Reliability Engineer.
• Strong experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Strong Kubernetes administration and container orchestration experience.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Ansible or similar technologies.
• Experience supporting AI, Machine Learning or Data Engineering platforms.
• Strong scripting or programming experience (Python, Bash or PowerShell).
• Experience implementing monitoring, logging and observability solutions.
• Knowledge of cloud networking, platform security and operational best practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Remuneration Package

Up to €650 Daily Rate.
