Full Stack Engineer (Django and React)

12 Month Contract, Cork, Onsite
About the Company

My client is a world leading wireless technology innovator. They have an immediate requirement for a skilled Full Stack Engineer to join their team**, **working on developing web services, micro-services, automation and workflows, supporting applications and systems and also develop integrations with engineering tools and systems.

About the Position

Working within a multi disciplinary team that manages how open source and third party software is used in the organisation.

Tasks will include developing web services, micro-services, automation and workflows to optimize the open-source review process and open development in the company.

You will also support the applications and systems that are depended on for the company’s software licensing compliance and IP protection. You will also develop integrations with engineering tools and systems, perform administration and scripting activities in a Linux environment, review data to troubleshoot, work with IT/release engineering to investigate issues in SCM environments and provide direct user support to our compliance and legal teams for integration issues.

You will interact directly with end-users and stakeholders across the company to resolve problems, provide information to the internal team and follow up with customers to provide support.

Key Responsibilities

Experience

  • Expertise in Django and React frameworks.
  • Expertise in application development using Celery.
  • Expertise in PL/SQL, experience with PostgreSQL is a plus.
  • Expertise in application development using RabbitMQ.
  • Experience in frontend technologies like React/Next/Vue JS, CSS is a big plus.
  • Experience in Docker and writing Dockerfile is a plus.
  • Experience in Git/Perforce is a plus.
  • Experience in shell scripting, developing applications and troubleshooting in a UNIX/Linux environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, self-motivated and able to work independently with little supervision.
  • Strong analytic, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail oriented and able to document troubleshooting and resolutions accurately and thoroughly.

Qualification

  • BE or B-Tech in Computer Science (or in related streams) or higher with 8-12 years relevant experience.
  • Thorough understanding of software development life cycle.
  • Thorough understanding of web service, application, and micro-service architectures.

This will be offered as a 12 month contract with a daily rate up to 450 per day.
