Senior Full Stack Java Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Java Developer to join a dynamic technology team. This role will involve designing and building modern web applications, integrating business-critical platforms, and contributing to the ongoing evolution of a secure and scalable development environment. This is a hybrid role, that requires 3/4 days p/w onsite.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Java and Angular technologies.
  • Build and enhance RESTful APIs to support integration between multiple enterprise systems.
  • Work closely with architects, analysts, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Contribute to both new project development and the enhancement of existing applications.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and collaborative development activities.
  • Carry out peer code reviews and promote high standards of code quality and maintainability.
  • Provide technical support and resolve complex application issues when required.
  • Mentor junior developers and share best practices across the development team

Key Skills

  • Strong commercial experience with Java 17+ and Spring Boot.
  • Proven expertise in Angular 14+ and modern front-end development.
  • Solid understanding of TypeScript, JavaScript, and SCSS.
  • Experience building and consuming RESTful web services and API-driven architectures.
  • Strong knowledge of object-oriented design principles and software design patterns.
  • Experience working with relational databases, ideally Oracle.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Maven, Git, and Jenkins.
  • Experience with Docker or Kubernetes environments.
  • Understanding of code quality and security tools within the development lifecycle.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
